My name is Joshua Smith,
born and raised in Crystal River.
The waters of Kings Bay have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up here gave me a deep appreciation for the wildlife, springs, and history that make this place special. Over the years, that passion led me to become a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain, spend countless hours on the water, and guide visitors from around the world through the place I call home.
My goal is simple. I want every guest to experience Crystal River the way locals know it. Not just as a destination, but as a living ecosystem filled with wildlife, natural beauty, and stories that stretch back thousands of years.
Whether we’re watching dolphins, spotting manatees, exploring the springs, or enjoying a sunset on the water, every trip is an opportunity to slow down and connect with the Nature Coast.
